Sick... AGAIN

Dear Winter,

Let me start by saying that I LOVE YOU! Being an Arizona native I simply relish the few weeks/months a year that you grace us with your presence. I Love it especially when you send storm clouds my way. BUT... (dun, dun, DUN!) That was all before I had a BabyBee. You see his immune system is kinda pathetic and due to that he has come down with the following-

1. A cold. No big deal right? WRONG. Apparently children under the age of 4 aren't supposed to get cough medicine. Did I know this before I gave him cough medicine? No. Do I care? No. If it helps him sleep at night and breathe through his nose then so be it!

2. A diaper rash. Ummmm. Ouch.

3. Pink-eye! I would like to make it clear that BabyBee has officially got my genes when it comes to eyeballs. Poor kid.

4. Croup. Yep. To top that ^ all off my BabyBee has the infant equivalent of a very sore throat/horrible barky cough. Sad day at the Bee house.

However, there are some silver linings in spite of these problems! BabyBee is more cuddly than ever and for those that know him know how AWESOME this truly is. And thanks to all of the antibiotics he's on, sleeps about 12 hours a night. SWEET! Here is how CTR sleeps while heavily medicated:

*** Note how my BabyBee sleeps with not 1 eye but BOTH eyes open. It is kinda creepy sometimes. ***

In other news we have started trying to eat solid foods. Most people might become frustrated with the lack of progress babies make but seeing as how developmentally BabyBee is only about 3 months old I think he's doing GREAT!! This is the little man trying out some rice cereal and prunes for the first time.

His eyes are screaming "this is HUMILIATING MOM" but I don't care. He's all chubbed out and messy and I'm the boss so THERE. These are a couple days before Winter attacked his immune system. FYI- trying to get the BabyBee to smile with a camera nearby is h a r d.

Both attempts failed miserably at getting a smile but definitely succeeded in capturing his cute-ness!! Oh yeah!! Can't forget to post these:

6 MONTH STATS:

Weight- 15lbs. 1oz. - between the 50th and 75th percentile

Length- 26in. - 90th percentile!

BabyBee was a champ at his appointments and didn't even cry when he got his shots. He just made his sad face until he realized it was over. GOOD JOB Munchkin! Oh also... In the food shots you can totally see his little growing fat rolls! Hooray!
