July Update

Hooray! I am getting better at posting! So..... in recent news. Worker Bee and I got to go to the hospital again last night because Baby Bee has decided that it needs to make its debut NOW! I will be 31 weeks on Friday the 10th so the doctors and nurses voted against this and gave me yet another shot of Terbutaline. Now.... Normally this would be fine and dandy but Dr. Mikel was also kind enough to advise the nurse to let me have an Ambien since my contractions had been going on for 2 days. Of course sleep is ALWAYS welcome so I gladly accepted. Well we get discharged at about 1:30 a.m.and I decide that I should probably eat something since I had dinner at 5:30. Well I take the pill come home and make/eat a breakfast sandwich. And then I feel the drugs actually kicking in and poor Worker Bee just sat there not really knowing what to do with/for me to make it better. Now for those of you who don't know Terbutaline makes your heart rate increase by about 30-40 BPM. So not only was Baby Bee getting hyper so was the Queen Bee =) So I tell Josh how I need to go on a walk to feel better and proceed to just get up and walk to bed where I felt AWESOME *sarcasm* and decided that a walk was out of the question. Long story short, I babbled on for about 2 hours while Worker Bee watched Iron Man and I didn't even doze off till 4 a.m. Ah the miracles of modern medicine. BUT I am doing ok as is the whole Bee family and Baby Bee has finally settled down. Hopefully this round lasts longer that 3 weeks which is that last time we went to the hospital for the same thing!

  4. Tell that baby to stay in there! Sam is always trying to push our baby out (he tries to pop my stomach like a zit... it's weird) but I have to tell him that the baby isn't ready yet.
