You might be 9 months pregnant if....

  • Your ankles swell up THIS BIG within minutes of putting on actual shoes.
  • People at church see you drop something and pick it up for you because they would feel bad about front row seats to *that* show.
  • Getting up from any sitting position literally takes your breath away.
  • You find yourself wishing that everywhere you went offered "Expectant Mothers Only" parking.
  • You try really hard to not laugh at jokes/stories/anything that would wake up that baby in your belly, prompting him/her to kick you in the ribs, therefore giving new meaning to the term "laugh till your ribs hurt".
  • Rolling over from side to side while sleeping could be compared to a teenager attempting a 5 point turn in a cul-de-sac while driving a semi-truck.
  • You freak out non-pregnant people sitting near you when they look over and can see your tummy moving with activity. (however this generally leads to the person leaving, giving me a better seat on occasion)
  • When you start breathing heavily, people wait on you hand and foot. After all NO ONE wants to mess with a pregnant lady who appears to be in labor.
  • When you see someone with some kind of pain being inflicted upon them, whether it be their own doing or an accident, you start smiling on the inside and think HA HA *suck-aaaaa*.
  • You can tell when certain friends or family members are approaching due to your heightened sense of smell.
  • It takes you an unusually extended amount of time to fall asleep only to be awoken by an extremely full bladder.
  • 10 minutes after emptying said bladder it is full yet again. *grrrrrr*
  • You get to see random acts of kindness from strangers who would go out of their way to assist you rather than watch you take 4 times longer than anyone in the world to perform a simple task. Example- at the grocery store (with the BabyBee in tow) people will let me cut them in line. I LOVE this one. It is very helpful. Especially considering that BabyBee can be quite the handful. Ha ha ha.

I know there are lots of other things we could add to this list so what are YOUR thoughts and opinions on the matter?
