September Update

Due to some technical issues, Queen Bee has been unable to post! Thank heavens for family members who also own computers! YEAH! So.... Happy Birthday to the Worker Bee! Want to know what he got for his birthday.....?! A BABY! YEAH! I did get him a present too. He got some nice new tennis shoes so now he can play sports when the guys in the ward ask him to! What else is new? Baby Bee had his appointment with the cardiologist and it went very well! He has grown 2 inches and gained a whole pound. What an awesome growth spurt right?! Anyhow... His heart is doing good. His VSD hole *should* close up on its own because it is located where his heart is more muscle. So as he continues to grow and work out (aka EAT) his heart should take care of the rest. His other hole located in the top atria of his heart is so small that the doctor couldn't tell if it was an ASD or a PSO. We took that to be a good thing. Baby Bee will go back to said doctor when he is 4 months old to be re-evaluated to see how the holes are doing and *possibly* discuss surgery. Baby Bee also just celebrated his 4th week of life! YEAH! Queen Bee is doing well also.... just very tired because Baby Bee is eating more and more and more. I keep telling myself that this is a good thing! I just wish he didn't feel compelled to eat every 3 hours instead of every 4. Oh well! That is all the news we have going on right now and I will do better at keeping everyone updated! Oh and a new post will soon be coming to detail the amazing similarities between the Baby Bee and the Derek Zoolander. My baby has mastered the look of Blue Steel! WOOHOO!!

  1. Cav has a PSO or PFO whatever it's called. No surgery and his other hole closed so maybe babybee will be the same. -shelly

  4. I remember your sister mentioning that your little guy might have Downs but I didnt know you got your test results back. They are special little people that sure require a lot of extra love and work (but what babies don't right?)...my brother had a couple holes in his heart too. He had surgery when he was about 4 and it really helped him. He has some other issues that make his life a bit more complicated, so DS is the least of his worries. He's such a happy kid, and I really adore seeing your pictures of Curtis - He looks so much like Kevin when he was a baby (weird sleeping positions and all!) It's funny, but all Downs kids look like they could be related.
Hope you're doing good, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that everything continues to go well for that handsome little man of yours!

  5. I'm so glad to hear that your little man is doing better and everything seems very happy :) Your son by the way is the most adoreable little guy ever & I just love the pictures they are so sweet. I love the Blue steel thing thats just hilarious. Such a sweetie haha anyways your husband's shoe situation sounded alot like mine he had no good shoes to play in except for these icky ones he's probally had sense jr high and they are sicknast to the max. SO for his birthday (even though he said he diden't want anything) he got some B ball shoes and now he can't seem to take them off, cause he wuvvvs them. & the guys at church can now invite him to play... & By the way, its true staying up at all hours really isint so bad after all when you got a cute little hungry baby!
